My New Boyfriend!!!!!

His name is Rebel and he is a full blooded lab!!! Isn't he cute??? I am sooooo happy!!! I have been wanting another dog for a while!!!!!!

Above picture is R.G Miller, a cool friend of ours ( even if he is overally for the confederates..:) ) and he just happens to be the one who A) talked Mom into it, and B) was the provider of Rebel!!!!:)

So, here are some catering pictures with my sister, Rachel and a good friend, Bethany C. We did a catering job out in Tampa and even though it seemed to drag on at times, I think overall it went well. Bethany's younger brother was there as well and he kept us laughing .....:)

That night my mom, rachel and I went out with the Pollocks and Stokes to see the country cousins playing bluegrass at a place called the fly wheel. It was like this old village with all these older style cabins ( yah !) and barns...( bigger yah;) ) I enjoyed it!!! Above is the pictures in the car with Livy and  a non-synical one with Jordan:) One of these days I will get him to enjoy the camera....I still can't believe he smiled for me!!!!!

And last but not least....

THe Yard salE!!!! Awwww..major lack of sleep but well worth it! We were doing it for a lady in our church who needed the money for a trip/wedding she was going to. She ended up getting a fair amount, so I was happy it went well.....We got it all cleaned up and cleaned the Pollocks house for church and then ended up not having it cause everyone was sick...aww..life...yah....whatever:):):) I have been snoozing in a hammock most of the day:):):):)

OK, so here it is....

Getting up wayyyy to early wayyy to many mornings this last few weeks!

speech class, yard sales, catering, catering, catering, sewing, church, catering, catering, catering, ....

ok, so you get the idea...I got home tonight dead tired and Mom couldn't remember my name

I am sitting here updating and looking at my baby bros face and thinking how blessed I am even though I am tired,

sore and totally worn out!!! How dear the children are and how they make life worth living!!!!

Ok, So Rachel, my sister and Samuel, my brother and I were catering from 7 in the morning till about 4 in the afternoon. Then we get home and within 30 minutes of getting home, we turn around again to go to GAME NIGHT:) Doesn't that sound like fun? Well, it was:):):):)

 

The parents left for a while, and all us kids played all sorts of games...mainly dutch blitz!!!! Yah!!!! My favorite ever..especially with this group;)

But of course, Olivia had to be different so she chose Balderdash...because she is smarter than her ditzy blonde friend..aka me:)

( notice the hat...cute huh? I am gonna steal it from Gabriel just haven't figured out how yet;) )

I caught Jordan doing something...Just can't remember what;)

So Yah, all in all , had a blast and can't wait to do it again:):):)

What is the importance of a name? Why should we protect it and guard it from harm and slander?

As I have been going through life lately, God is once again calling me to the importance of controlling my tongue...ouch...It's hard!!! ( especially for a prophet;) for those of you in ATI:) ) BUT...God doesn't ever say it's easy, right??? I was changing around where I have been doing my devotions and I started in James again...I like that book......and what is there of course, but the tongue is a tiny member but a two edged sword:).....

So, what does the tongue have to do with our name????

If I offend someone, what is the general comment you will hear???? Well, Jessica said this....Can you believe she would say that to.......Jess was mean to me!!! So, in using that tiny. yet mean member, I have just slandered my name because now everyone associates that name, Jess, with a bad thought and memory...Grrr..That's a hard responsibility because it goes two ways!!!

When you speak sweetly and kindly it's different than the world because it's not our first reaction. If we speak softly in times of crisis, people notice a difference immeadiatly. And then it's not just our name that we are promoting, but Christ's as well.

I have failed!!! How is it that when you get convicted of something, it automatically gets harder to deal with?!?!?! But through it all I know I don't have the choice to fail, because I would be losing more than my name, but Christ's as well!!!

To all of mine!!!

I know I have been insane lately!!! please forgive me!!! I love you all!!!

God has blessed my family with a miracle and I am having to learn to lean on Him once more and forgive and move on. While this experience is a wonderful one, and one that I continue to sit back and stare amazed at God for, it is also being a time for my family and a few certain friends to come back together as a "family".

I am sorry this is taking time. Please continue to contact me!!! I will try my best to get together with you all and let you know I still care!!! I am not purposefully leaving any of you out, nor do I wish you to feel that way!!!

This is all to say, know that I love you and will try to be back in full swing again soon...

If you are mad at me for not making you more of a priority in my life, please contact me so I can apologize. I don't want anyone to feel left out by all this!!!

I have been having the absolute week of my life..Besides being absolutly insane with work, and church and family, It's all been great!!!

Olivia turned 16 and we got to hang out numerous times:):):):) and then we all got together last night for a shindig for it and played dutch blitz for most of the evening!!!! It was a blast...I love that game!!! 

Drop me all a line ya'll, since I am so crazy I have a hard time remembering people love me.....could use a note once in a while:):):)

Well, is it just me, or is it really about the time you think you are perfect God finds ways of telling you you aren't?

This vacation was a prime example of that...I am blessed that I finally allowed myself to learn it, but sorry it ruined a small fracture of my time while gone.... I am enjoying TRYING to work on what He showed me, but could use prayer;)

                                                     

The above picture is of two good freinds of mine, Gabriel and Olivia Pollock. I wasn't seeing them much when we left the church and now that I get to see them every week I have been very blessed. Well, I have happily enjoyed a wonderful day in my favorite place ever!!!

 

Pensacola hasn't changed much to me, even though the poor place has been hit numerous times by hurricanes... The base is still fully active and the AVIATION MUSEUM is still totally going and functional!!! YAH!!!

I can't tell you how I feel walking thru that place. It's like home, though I have never lived there.It's my beach, my cabin and MY museum... and my soldiers;)...It's amazing to me, that I see all these guys here my age and here abouts, and yet I have a motherly look at them...Like, today I saw a small group of guys , and the first thought thru my mind was " Wow, they look young and I wonder if they are homesick yet?" , " or He looks sad, would cookies make him better????" It sounds silly, but I guess it's the older sister syndrome;)

After leaving the museum We went to a favorite thrift shop and doodled and then drove and drove and drove the longest three hours of my life...EVER.... It finally ended and we are here......:):):)
